Participating students will gain the chance to become familiar with current exhibitions at the Gallery and engage in fun creative workshops. The gallery learning team will lead the workshops and provide materials. To organize an art club for your school contact the Learning team.
Offsite Workshops
Saatchi Gallery proudly offers offsite workshops run by our experienced art educators. We explore contemporary art through playful accessible activities and draw inspiration from art pieces that have been displayed at Saatchi Gallery by artists from all over the world. Participants get the chance to make their own artwork inspired by our recent and ongoing exhibitions.

PAST
Season of Sculpture Tours and Workshops
As part of our charitable mission, Saatchi Gallery is proud to offer complimentary interactive workshops for educational and community groups. With the opening of If Not Now, When? and Christo & Jeanne-Claude: Boundless, the learning team are launching some new workshops which will deepen the participants’ understanding of the exhibitions through creative practice! These workshops are designed to be easily adapted to suit groups of all ages and abilities – the aim is to have fun and be creative, not to make copies or hyper realistic representations.
These workshops will use a range of materials and media such as clay, wire, paper mâché, polystyrene carving, collage and décollage to create sculptural works inspired by artists such as Christo and Jeanne-Claude, Yves Klein, César and Marcel Duchamp for the Christo & Jeanne-Claude: Boundless workshops, and Bridget Heriz, Christine Kowal-Post, Shirley Cameron, Pamela Storey, Carol Farrow and Michele Howarth for the If Not Now, When workshops!
All tours and workshops are subject to availability and priority goes to those from low income or disadvantaged groups.
