M&C SAATCHI GROUP – ART FOR CHANGE PRIZE

- Applications are now open for the Art for Change Prize 2024, an international art initiative from M&C Saatchi and Saatchi Gallery open to artists working in the first five years of their career. This year’s prize asks artists to creatively respond the the theme ‘Tomorrow’ing: Visions of a better future’. A total prize fund of £20,000 will be split between six winners, five to receive £2,000 and one overall winner to receive £10,000.

- The title of this exhibition is taken from Luke Hannam’s drawing How to Make a Head, 2024 , a head seemingly constructed from rectangular blocks. Not intended as a portrait of an existing person in the traditional sense, the work assembles life from scratch to create a humanoid form.
