Saatchi Gallery proudly offers offsite workshops run by our experienced art educators. We explore contemporary art through playful accessible activities and draw inspiration from art pieces that have been displayed at Saatchi Gallery by artists from all over the world. Participants get the chance to make their own artwork inspired by our recent and ongoing exhibitions.

Free entry for students & community groups, including free workshops & tours.

Tours: Groups are accompanied by a member of our dedicated Learning team who will provide unique insights and facts into the exhibition and featured artefacts to encourage group discussion and engagement.

Workshops: exhibition-themed workshops including collage, magazine cover designing, figurative drawing, photography, poetry writing and sculpture making.

Available: Free entrance for learners/community groups, workshops, tours

Gallery Learning department led tours encourage discussions about the exhibition and explore key exhibition themes including image consumption, civil rights, protest and climate change from a historic and contemporary perspective.

Participants are then given the opportunity to use our on-site learning studio to participate in group workshops in response to exhibition themes. Students will reimagine exhibition photographs through hands-on book making and collage.

The Gallery Learning department led tours teach participants fun facts about the artists and their process and encourage discussions about the exhibition, giving participants the opportunity to share their opinion.

Participants are then given the opportunity to use our on-site learning studio to participate in group workshops in response to exhibition themes. They will get to use the exhibition as a jumping off point to invent their own fantasy plants collaboratively with other participants.
